DISCOVER VERIDIAN LIVING

Built on conviction. Delivered with intention.

Veridian Living is a housing platform built on a simple belief — that a well-designed, sustainable home should be achievable for every Australian, on every budget, in every landscape.

WHAT VERIDIAN LIVING IS

Not a project home builder. Not a custom architect. Something better than both.

Veridian Living sits deliberately in the space between — where considered design meets accessible delivery, and where quality is not reserved for those with unlimited budgets or unlimited time.

We deliver homes built off-site using modern methods of construction, managed end-to-end from your first conversation through to the day you move in. That means we take responsibility for the entire process — design, manufacture, installation and construction — managing every subcontractor, every timeline, and every decision along the way. You have one point of contact. One accountable party. No surprises.

Three collections designed for different lives and different landscapes. One Custom pathway for those whose vision sits outside the collections. And a process built around your site, your brief, and your budget — not a catalogue handed to you before anyone has looked at your land.

Every Veridian Living home is built on sustainable principles — reducing construction waste, designing for Australian climate conditions, and delivering homes that perform better and cost less to run. Because building well and building responsibly aren't competing priorities. For us, they're the same thing.

THE FOUNDER

Jess Plane

FOUNDER, VERIDIAN LIVING

Jess Plane grew up off-grid. For the first sixteen years of her life, her family lived remotely. The small shack — made from cement sheeting, converted eventually from generator to solar — taught her something most people never have to learn. By ten years old she understood that the batteries had to be charged before anything electronic could be used. That energy is something you earn, not something you assume. Whilst she left home at sixteen, she never forgot what she left behind.

By eighteen there was no family home to return to. No deposit waiting. No inheritance on the horizon. Whatever stability she would one day have — whatever home she would raise her own family in — would be something she built entirely herself. Like so many Australians, she didn't have a safety net. She just had the determination to make it happen and build a life bigger than anything she could have imagined.

Her relationship with construction began around the age of thirteen — keeping the books for her father's handyman business before most people her age had considered what a career might look like.

She went on to formalise that instinct — completing qualifications in finance not because she intended to become an accountant, but because she understood early that financial literacy was the most powerful tool a business leader could carry. Numbers tell the truth about a business long before anything else does. She wanted to be able to read them.

What followed later in life soon became very deliberate. Business administration. And then the role that shaped everything — joining a major civil construction company where she worked her way through to senior management, gaining a complete picture of how a complex organisation holds together and what causes it to come apart. That understanding of leadership, process, and the gap between how businesses present themselves and how they actually function became the foundation everything else was built on.

She took that foundation and eventually stepped into a CEO position at a leading earthworks company specialising in subdivision — an industry that taught her the value of land long before she understood what she would one day build on it.

She then went on to found Elite Project Collective to put that knowledge to work — and to give herself a front row seat to the mistakes the industry makes repeatedly, and the opportunity to build the solutions to fix them. Veridian Living is the result. Not a leap of faith — a calculated next step.

Today she lives with her own family in a solar passive modular home on 280 acres — as close to subsistence as she can. Not as a statement. Just as the most natural way of being herself.

"I didn't build Veridian Living because I saw a gap in the market. I built it because I lived on the wrong side of that gap for long enough to know exactly what it costs people.."

- JESS PLANE, FOUNDER, VERIDIAN LIVING

Growing up, home ownership felt like something that happened to other people. A stable home, in a place of her own, felt like a dream that wasn't meant for her. The construction industry changed that. The career she built gave her something she once thought was out of reach — and in doing so, showed her exactly how many Australians are still standing where she once stood.

Veridian Living exists because of that. Because a well-built home should be within reach for every Australian — and because Jess now has both the conviction and the capability to help make that possible.

WHY WE EXIST

A well-built home on your own piece of land shouldn't be out of reach. Not in this country. Not anymore.

The gap in the Australian market is real. Project builders offer volume without vision. Architects offer vision without accessibility. And an entire generation is being priced out of the kind of home they deserve to live in.

Veridian Living was built to close that gap — not with compromise, but with a better system. Homes built off-site in controlled environments, free from weather delays, site vandalism, and the unpredictability of traditional construction. A QA process that delivers precision anA QA process that delivers precision traditional construction rarely matches. Delivery in eight to ten months rather than eighteen. And a home that arrives complete — connect to services and move in within days.

We work with every client to understand their site, their brief, and their budget — then we find the most sustainable, cost-effective solutions to get the best possible home built on their land. Because this is not a transaction. For most people, this is the most significant investment of their life. And it deserves to be treated that way.

WHERE WE'RE HEADED

Housing, rebuilt. For the long term.

Veridian Living is at the beginning of something larger. The immediate mission is clear — deliver considered, sustainable homes to Australians who have been underserved by both ends of the market.

The longer vision is a housing platform that changes the way Australia builds — combining off-site manufacturing, intelligent design, and end-to-end delivery at a scale that makes a genuine contribution to the country's housing needs. Homes that are better for the people who live in them, better for the communities they sit in, and better for the environment they're built on.

Every home we deliver is a proof of concept. Every Australian who moves in is one more person who was told it wasn't possible — and proved otherwise.

RESPONSIBILITY

Every decision guided by the weight of what a home means.

DISCIPLINE

Good outcomes come from doing the hard work early.

ACCOUNTABILITY

We own the entire delivery process — not just parts of it.

ADAPTABILITY

Flexible pathways. Consistent standards. Always.

SUSTAINABILITY

Built for Australian conditions. Designed to endure.

The most important investment of your life deserves the right conversation first.
